This week I have been focusing on motivation and consistency. Lately I have found myself getting unmotivated and inconsistent with my water intake and working out. That was not the case this week though! This week has been important to get my mind right and be productive.
Week one I worked on mostly full body workouts, drinking lots of water and eating healthy. It was hard to get up and have the energy do do things around the house like cleaning, homework and simply going outside and taking a walk. Every day I try to drink half my body weight in ounces. I know that seems crazy but I have found myself getting used to drinking a lot of water through out the day. I can see the progress already. Its crazy how something so little can change the way your body functions in a positive way. By eating healthy and drinking water I can already see the increase in energy. I am also not as sore as I usually am after I workout. Throughout this week I have been working out every other day and making sure I don't push it too hard. Tuesday and Wednesday I did the same workout. I focused on full body, abs and cardio. For the full body and abs, I followed fitness videos that taught me how to properly work your body (shown below). For cardio I jumped for on thirty seconds and off 30 seconds, for 10 minutes. I learned this week that it is always important to stretch before and after working out. I was so sore on Tuesday because I didn't stretch but on Wednesday I stretched before and after and I felt so much better that I did on Tuesday. The pros to stretching while staying fit is decreased amount of soreness and injuries. I want to challenge you today to get out, get some sun, drink water and have fun! This is the stretch guide I followed for my sore muscles!
